Based in Toronto, Canada, Kink Engineering is the brainchild of Matt "Mad_Scientist" and Marika "Archean", who are latex enthusiasts and also trained engineers.
With experience in mechanical design, material science, drafting, manufacturing, welding, machining, and especially a bent towards latex fetish, Kink Engineering is focused on making kinky ideas into kinky reality!

was crowned Miss Rubber World
2011!
She has since passed on the crown, but will always be Miss Rubber world for
2011.
We believe that bondage devices and clothing can be more than sexy; they can also be smart, functional and artistically designed. They can also be fun, colorful and whimsical. One common thread in our work is that we care about the quality and safety of our designs. We are the first to admit that we are slow to release new designs... this is because everything is thoroughly tested in our latex lab before it goes on sale.
Our philosophy is simple: "Do it right!" and we apply that to every aspect of our business as best we can.
Since the beginning in 2008, the company has grown in size and scope. We have moved from a single room, to a 600 sq foot loft (Feb 2009), and then on to a 2000 sq foot loft (May 2011) - and we have joined forces with other businesses and artists to create some amazing work over the years. We have also spawned new brands including our Latex Sheeting/Crafting supply brank www.sheetlatex.com, and our Latex Laser cutting and customization services at www.laserlatex.com.
We now have a several employees in the latex workshop, the always awesome and often extremely weird designer "Droidsy" joins us regularly to build products for our customers, and more recently we have added the geniuses behind Adala Latex and FDL latex to our assembly staff here at Kink Engineering when they are not working on their own latex lines. We are also sharing our production space with the always amazing Ego Assassin Latex team. Our workshop often has a combined experience level of over 30 years of full time latex work.
We have grown our business by hiring people locally instead of outsourcing. This is something that is very important to us. Equitable pay, Equitable Prices, and Long Term Planning are all things we think about and talk about when looking at the future of this growing business. Our Toronto staff bring a great work ethic, clothing design experience, and amazing brains full of enthusiasm for the future. We love it!
Droidsy is known for making SUPER-WHIMSICAL latex designs - and dolls.
Our first major product development was the sealing Vacbed. This version of the latex vacuum bed has the advantage of being able to seal shut with a one way valve. The vacuum does not have to run all the time. This leads to safer, quieter and more communicative play.
More recently we have been expanding our smaller product lines, focusing on highly detailed laser cut latex assembled into latex garments the likes of which the world has never seen before. Our Micro-Breathe Enclosure hoods have been very popular in the Fetish scene, and more recently the launch of our Lucha Latex Mexican wrestling hoods marked another step into the strange mash-up of artistic and fetish styles that we love so much.
We have also had the opportunity to work with some big names in the fetish community, and in the mainstream media/artist community. Our first costume contribution to a feature film will be hitting the theatres in summer 2013 with the release of "Pacific Rim" directed by Guillermo del Toro.
What this company is really all about is combining creativity and craftsmanship, resulting in ever-improving latex designs. We are also supportive of the kink community and culture. We are very determined to help grow the international and local latex communities.
